Well a ;lot has happened. We have raced 1480 WK at the JEC Challenge. Jim managed to qualify the car ahead of Tony Jardine and we P4'd the car at Donnington. My Porsche 911 prepared by Jim took P4 in class at this years Tour Britannia and 16th overall, which was some going given the competition. As we speak we are preparing for Brands Hatch and Silverstone Classic.

Jim now building a Lotus Cortina Mk1 for next years Tour Britannia, that should see us further up the rankings, fingers crossed. Well done Tester Engineering

Well we managed to get a class win in the cars first outing! A testament to Jims skill.

More testing and tweaking to do but keep a lookout for us at the 50 year celebrations next year.

If you want to have a look at the car just contact Jim

Things are getting exiting now as we contemplate the delivery of car number 1 early next month. Some changes to the specification meant we were unable to get the car to Le Mans as hoped but actually that was a blessing in disguise as my air conditioned Land Rover dealt with the plus 38c temperature over the weekend a lot better than the e-type would have.

Jim had an interesting time with a windscreen which he managed to fashion out of a bit of perspex and a surform after the Mark 2 had a incident with a stone near the track.

Look out for us at Tour Brittania, and Kop Hill, Hill climb this September.

Jim and I have rashly agreed to race the car at next years 50th celebration events.....
